Police Investigate Fight Near McDonald's, Mother Struck
Police in Oak Creek are investigating a fight at the Howell Ave. McDonald's that reportedly involved approximately 40 people.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek are investigating a fight at the Howell Ave. McDonald's that reportedly involved approximately 40 people and resulted with a parent being struck during the altercation.
Oak Creek police responded to the McDonald's on Howell Ave. just after 4:30 p.m. on Sep. 29 on a report of disorderly conduct.
According to police reports, when officers responded, an employee at McDonald's told police that one of the youth tried to fight a girl in the group. The employee told police that the girl's mother got out of the car, and got into an altercation with about 10-15 other children. Police reported that the mother had been struck during the altercation.

According to the report, several members of the gathered crowd took off running toward the nearby Pick 'n Save and Dairy Queen, while others got into vehicles and quickly left the scene upon arrival of police.
An officer was able to review surveillance video of the incident, and recognized many of the youth involved in the altercation. Police are following up on their investigation.
