Police Investigating $50,000 Vehicle Theft In Oak Creek: Report

OAK CREEK, WI -- Authorities in Oak Creek are investigating a vehicle theft that took place before the morning of May 6.

According to Oak Creek police reports, sometime between 8:15 p.m on May 5, and 9 a.m. on May 6, a suspect stole a Ford F-150 truck from the driveway of a property on the 8300 block of S. Benjamin Drive.

Reports state that the vehicle owner speculated that the truck's keys may have been left inside the vehicle. When officers investigated, they reportedly found a small file on the ground near where the truck was stolen, that did not belong to the property owners.

According to reports, the vehicle was estimated to be $50,000 in value.
