Police Investigating Northbranch Drive Car Break-In: Report
Police say a man went to work on the night of Jan. 23. When he went out to his car on break, he found someone tried stealing his stereo.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police are investigating a vehicle break-in on Northbranch Drive.
According to Oak Creek police reports, officers responded to the 1100 block of W. Northbranch Dr. just after 1 a.m. on Jan. 24 on a report of an apparent vehicle burglary.
Reports stated that the owner of a Jeep called police after seeing that someone smashed the driver's side front window and rummaged through the vehicle.

According to reports, the Jeep's owner said he arrived in the parking lot just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 23, and when he went outside for a break, he saw that someone burglarized his vehicle.
Police noted that although nothing was missing inside, there appeared to be evidence that someone tried taking the stereo. Officers searched the area and could not locate the suspect or other damaged vehicles.
