Police Investigating Shepard Hills BB Gun Incident: Report

A witness reported seeing four children shoot out windows at Shepard Hills days before classes began.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they are investigating a case in which four suspects shot out windows at Shepard Hills Elementary School before classes began for the 2019-20 school year.

According to police call logs, a 911 caller talked with police, saying they saw four children with a pellet gun on the south side of the building shooting at second-story windows.

The witness said they say four children jump the fenced-in area on the northwest side of the school, and then shot at the windows with a BB gun, before jumping the fence to get out of the area. According to call logs, the witness told police he saw two SUV vehicles travel north on Shepard Hills at a high rate of speed immediately after the BB gun incident.

Police said the shooter shot out a window of an upper and lower-school window. A door had also been shot, police said.
