Police Mitigate Parking Dispute: Report

Reports indicated that the body shop had 11 vehicles on their neighbor's lot.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek were called to mitigate a parking dispute after the owner of a vacant property called police, saying that Oak Creek Automotive was parking cars on their property without permission.

According to police reports, officers fielded a call from the owner of the property next door to Oak Creek Automotive, 7948 S. 27th Street., just before 1:30 p.m. on Sep. 19 regarding the parking issue.

Reports indicated that the body shop had 11 vehicles on their neighbor's lot, however stated that they were confused because they believed they had an arrangement with their neighbor that allowed them to legally park their cars there.

According to police reports, officers told the body shop owner to have all the cars off the neighboring property within 24 hours or they would be cited.
