Police Track Down Theft Getaway Driver ... At His House: Report
According to reports, the man said he offered his friend $20 to steal a power tool at Farm and Fleet.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police tracked down a retail theft suspect all the way back to his house after he ran from a Farm and Fleet with a Milwaukee power tool.
According to police reports, a manager at Farm and Fleet called the police just after 5 p.m. on Feb. 18 on a report that two men left the Farm and Fleet without paying for the tool.
According to reports, they both ran from the business after they set off the store's security alarm. They ran across the parking lot to a waiting getaway car.

Police reports indicate that officers responded to the getaway car owner's house later that day. Police reported that officers met with a man at the address, who admitted he was involved in the theft.
According to reports, the man said he offered his friend $20 to steal a power tool at Farm and Fleet. He gave a false name as he spoke with the officer because he did not want to get into trouble.

Reports stated that police recovered the Milwaukee 3/8-inch impact wrench valued at $379 and took the two men into custody.
