Jakubczyk Prevails in 1st District Aldermanic Race
Alderman wins a second term on the council.
Dan Jakubczyk has won re-election to the Oak Creek Common Council, gaining 56 percent of the vote against his challenger, Kathryn Michuda, in the city's 1st District.
Jakubczyk said he was "humbled" by the number of votes he received - 580, compared to 444 for Michuda - and hopes to live up to their expectations in the next two years.
"I would just like to thank the people of the 1st District for having the confidence to re-elect me," he said. "I hope to prove that they did not do wrong."
