Public Hearing Set For 87-Unit Housing Development Plans
Developer ModHome is proposing a $22 million housing development in southern Oak Creek.

OAK CREEK, WI -- A public hearing will be held Tuesday, June 18, as Oak Creek officials consider a developer's plans to create an 87-home single-family residential condominium development along S. Howell Ave.
Citing the Amazon fulfillment center project currently under construction in Oak Creek and the $10 billion Foxconn electronics plant being built in Mount Pleasant, developer ModHome is proposing a $22 million housing development in southern Oak Creek.

Plans for the development, slated for an area at 10730 S. Howell Ave., includes a clubhouse with pool, common areas, walking paths, child recreation area, and a dog park.

Plans call for 87 single-family residences within a condominium ownership structure. Each of the units, with a designated area surrounding the actual building, will be sold or leased, the developer says. Plans call for five different home types will be constructed throughout the property. They're named Jefferson, Kimberly, Tenton, Floridian, and El Paso.
The public hearing will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Oak Creek Common Council Chambers, 8040 S. Sixth Street in Oak Creek.
