Multiple vehicles were broken into at an Oak Creek apartment complex overnight and police are investigating the incident.

OAK CREEK, WI — Multiple vehicles were broken into at an Oak Creek apartment complex overnight and police are investigating the incident.
Oak Creek police initially responded to the 1300 block of W. Southfield Blvd. on a report of a theft from a vehicle.
According to police reports, an apartment resident reported being woken up to the sound of broken glass. When he looked outside, and reported seeing the back driver side window smashed in.

When police searched the apartment complex, it appeared that several vehicles at the Southfield Apartment complex. According to police reports, several vehicle doors were observed opened with glove boxes gone through.
Police reported that several miscellaneous property items were discovered scattered throughout the complex that appeared to have come from the vehicles.

Notification tags were left on the vehicles. Police are continuing to investigate this case, though no suspect has been identified.
