Readers Respond: What Local Business Do You Miss In Oak Creek?
We asked readers "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"
OAK CREEK, WI — A lot of businesses have come and gone in Oak Creek history, and depending on how long you have lived in the area, some may still live on in memories.
On Saturday, we asked Oak Creek Patch readers on Facebook "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"
You had a lot to say, but one standout from recent memory was Trattoria di Carlo. The longstanding restaurant, perhaps known best for its pizza, closed in June of 2021.

Here are some highlights of how else readers responded to our question on Facebook:
"I believe it was called Littleton’s. It was around in the 80’s. Located on the Howell and Puetz before Speedway was there. It had a deli in it. Hot ham and rolls etc. They sold other things there.. liquor I think? They sold this amazing potato salad my parents used to buy. When they closed my parents asked for the recipe but it was a family secret," Ellen M. wrote.
