Report: New Grocery Store Planned For 27th St.

Gordon Food Service is proposing a 15,899-square-foot grocery store on the Franklin side of 27th Street, according to a report in the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The store would be located near the street's intersection with Rawson Avenue, the report said. GFS is known primarily for servicing food service companies but also operates retail stores, including one which recently opened on Miller Park Way in West Milwaukee.
