Rescue Workers Help Save Life Of Waukesha Man

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities say they were able to help save the life of a 60-year-old Waukesha man who was on the job in Oak Creek and suffered a medical emergency.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, the man was working at WS Packaging on the morning of Aug. 14 when authorities say the man suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground. Authorities said he was not breathing and did not have a pulse.

Police said the man fell, was unconscious and was bleeding from his head. Authorities say Oak Creek Fire Department first responders performed CPR and were able to revive him. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment. Authorities noted that the man was breathing on his own by the time he received treatment at the hospital.
