Ribbon Cutting for New Services at The Waters of Oak Creek
Oak Creek residents have a new place to turn for physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as specialty care services.

(Oak Creek, WI) – Oak Creek residents now have a new place to turn when in need of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services. New Jersey based, FOX Rehabilitation is opening an office at The Waters of Oak Creek in the Drexel Town Square development.
“Having on-site rehabilitation services is a great way to help our residents achieve the goal of thriving every day. Our missions align nicely as the stronger our residents are with great balance, the longer they can stay independent,” said Joanne Reilley, Senior Living Consultant at The Waters of Oak Creek.
The partnership began in early August and already there is an outstanding success story. Wayne Lepak and his wife, Marilyn, were excited to have access to a community where they could thrive. After a few weeks, however, Wayne Lepak realized that he may not be strong enough to provide the care that his wife needs. The couple was introduced to FOX Rehabilitation’s services, and that’s when the magic began.

“We started off working with Wayne’s wife, and realized that Wayne, too, was having trouble getting around. Based on his wife’s success, Wayne decided to give therapy a try. We started working with his balance, added strength training and visual motor activities. Within a few sessions, he reported significant improvement in his overall health and wellness,” said Molly Pugh, an Occupational Therapist with FOX Rehabilitation. This amazing progress has allowed the Lepaks to continue to enjoy the life they envisioned at The Waters of Oak Creek.
The Waters of Oak Creek will be hosting an Open House party to celebrate their partnership with FOX Rehabilitation and the grand opening of their new specialty care apartments. Join them on Tues., Sept. 17, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Specialty care apartments are designed for people living with medical conditions that require more than the 28 hours of care that is allowed in an independent living situation. Specialty care includes memory and enhanced care.
