Robbery Suspect Took 27th Street Kwik Trip Cash Register: Report

Police in Oak Creek say a robbery suspect took the entire cash register containing $101.53 and fled through the store's west entrance.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say they're searching for a man who robbed the 27th Street Kwik Trip just after midnight on March 25.

According to Oak Creek police reports, a clerk at the Kwik Trip called police just after midnight reporting that the business had just been robbed. The clerk told police that a man entered the store, walked through the store for about three minutes, and then walked up to the register.

One before the clerk, police reports state that the man implied that he had a handgun within his front right pocket, and demanded all of the money in the cash register. The man took the entire cash register containing $101.53, fled through the store's west entrance, and fled east on W. College Ave. in a blue Volkswagen sedan.

Police said photographs of the suspect were given to neighboring businesses with instructions to call police if he's spotted. Police describe the suspect as a white man between his 30s and 40s with blonde hair, a mustache and was wearing blue jeans and gray sweatshirt.
