Running, Unlocked Car Stolen From Speedway Parking Lot: Report
The owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz left his girlfriend's car running while in the parking lot when he went inside the store, police said.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek responded to a report of a vehicle theft after authorities say a man left his car running with the keys in it in the parking lot of Speedway.
According to police reports, officers responded to the Speedway at 8667 S. Howell Ave. just before 6 a.m. on April 4. According to reports, the owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz left his girlfriend's car running while in the parking lot when he went inside the store.
Reports indicate that a man entered his vehicle while he was in the store and drove off. According to police reports, the suspect was described as a black male about 20 to 21 years old and was last seen wearing a black beanie winter hat and a blue sweatshirt.

According to police reports, the suspect was seen leaving a black SUV, walked up to the Chevrolet Cruz and drove away. The stolen car was estimated to be $13,000 in value according to the police report.
