Scenes From Oak Creek Relay for Life
Hundreds participated in 12-hour event at Oak Creek High School.
Hundreds descended on Oak Creek High School Friday night for the community's second-annual Relay for Life.
The event, organized by the high school student council, began at 6 p.m. Friday and lasted until 6 a.m. Saturday. More than 500 people were expected to camp out.
Nearly $27,000 for the American Cancer Society was raised by 87 teams.

The theme this year was "birthdays," and helping the ACS create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. As part of the opening ceremonies, the crowd sang "Happy Birthday to Me."
