School Closures In Oak Creek: Wednesday Jan. 30

OAK CREEK, WI -- Bitterly-cold weather this week has forced the closure of numerous schools and agencies in Oak Creek this week, including the Oak Creek-Franklin School District.

Here is a message posted Tuesday from Oak Creek-Franklin School District officials:

Due to predicted weather conditions, today, Tuesday, Jan. 29, all after-school activities and events must end no later than 5:30 p.m. Any activities that run after this time are canceled.

Due to predicted weather conditions, schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, and all after-school activities and evening events are canceled.

We will continue to monitor the weather and wind chill status and notify you if any additional changes are necessary.

Friday, Feb. 8, will now be a regular school day for all students. Depending on other potential closures that may become necessary, we will determine whether any other changes to the calendar or hours of operation become necessary and notify you as soon as possible.
