A School Fundraiser 'Packed' With Excitement

STURTEVANT — If you participate in this fundraiser, Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler will probably interrupt your golf game to say hello.

On Saturday, June 11, the 11th Annual St. Matt's Golf Classic held at Ives Grove Golf Links in Sturtevant to raise funds for St. Matthew's Parish School in Oak Creek.

St. Matthew's Parish School's goal is to advance technology in the school with Google Chrome books. Organizers are trying to raise $20,000. All proceeds go toward helping the school.

How to go:

When: Saturday, June 11

Where: Ives Grove Golf Links in Sturtevant, WI

Time: Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. and golf starts at 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $100 is the fee to golf and that gets you 18 holes and a cart, a drink ticket and many on the course benefits. Additionally for $20 a wristband can be purchased for additional drink tickets, raffle tickets, and other amenities.

Organizers also run a shuttle to and from the Cellar Bar on Oakwood Rd. in Oak Creek for $20. The Cellar opens that day at 10:00 a.m. and the shuttle departs at 11:30 a.m. and brings you back after golf.
