Senior Complex Eyed for Drexel Town Square

The Waters Senior Living is close to signing a land sale contract with Oak Creek.

OAK CREEK - City officials are considering selling land to a Minnesota-based developer to add a sizable senior living complex to Drexel Town Square.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Business Journal, The Waters Senior Living is close to signing a land sale contract with Oak Creek officials.

“The city has done a superb job with Drexel Town Square, and also with the Ikea,” Associate Developer Brian Schack said of Oak Creek to the Business Journal. “We have been exploring the Milwaukee market and think Oak Creek is a great fit.”

The Minnetonka, Minn., company develops, owns and operates senior apartment communities offering independent, memory care and other assisted living services. Tenants can select from a range of assisted living services and only pay for those they want.
