Several Cited In Oak Creek Police Prostitution Sweep: Report
Police in Oak Creek set up a prostitution sweep in a 13th Street hotel over the weekend. This is what happened:

OAK CREEK, WI -- Citing the need to clean up a pattern of prostitution activity at Oak Creek hotels, police in Oak Creek conducted a prostitution sting at a hotel on S. 13th Street Saturday night, resulting in a number of citations.
According to police reports, the following calls were made during the sting:
9:37 p.m.: police cited a Milwaukee woman with failure to have an escort license.

7:50 p.m. police cited a woman with failure to have an escort license after a police sergeant set up a prostitution date with her. While on the call, police reported recovering one gram of heroin in her purse.
7:02 p.m. Police set up a prostitution date with a Sparta woman. Police reported recovering a half an ecstacy pill in her purse. She was also cited for not having an escort license.

5:47 p.m. Police cited a Milwaukee woman for failing to have an escort license.
Police in Oak Creek said the prostitution sweep addresses a number of issues, including the proliferation of prostitution operations that crop up in area hotels, and also providing agents the opportunity to weed out human traffickers while recovering victims in the sex trade.
