Shepard Hills Subdivision Will Get Storm Sewer Improvements

Project cost a little less than $40,000.

Storm sewer improvements will be made in the Shepard Hills subdivision following the Oak Creek Common Council's approval Tuesday night.

Alderman Ken Gehl said he hopes the improvements will put an end to the flooding problems that have plagued that area, south of Ryan Road near Shepard Ave., for quite awhile.

He added that officials originally thought the project would cost about $200,000. But after the improvements went to bid, it ended up costing a shade less than $40,000.
