Shred Your Documents, Recycle Your Electronics On Sept. 23

Residents will be able to better protect against identity theft by shredding documents and recycling electronics at this one-day event.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek is providing citizens with an opportunity to shred sensitive documents and to recycle unwanted electronics in a safe and proper way.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Oak Creek Street Department at 800 W. Puetz Rd, you'll be able to better protect yourself from identity theft. For shredding, there's a limit of six boxes of documents per vehicle.

New this year, they're providing electronics recycling provided by MidWest Computer Recylcing Inc. Most electronics will be free to recycle, but TVs will cost $20 cash only.
