South Shore COVID-19 Testing Site Opens On Packard Avenue

A PCR and rapid antigen COVID-19 testing site has opened in the former K-Mart parking lot on Packard Avenue in Cudahy.

CUDAHY, WI — A mobile COVID-19 testing site for Milwaukee's south shore communities has opened in the former K-Mart parking lot at 6077 S. Packard Avenue in Cudahy, according to a notice from the City of Oak Creek.

The testing site comes as a partnership between the south shore health departments. Reditus Laboratories opened the site and will provide rapid antigen testing and COVID-19 PCR tests that can also detect Influenza, according to the notice.

Pre-registration is required ahead of testing. Register online at testdirectly.com. Here are the site's scheduled hours of operation:

  • Monday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The testing site will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1, according to the city's notice.
