Oak Creek senior Rafael Saez led the way for the Knights' boys track and field team at last weekend's state meet, taking third place in the shot put and discus competitions.
The Oak Creek boys finished in 20th place - out of 64 teams - with 15 points.

- Scott Vieau finished 17th in the 400-meter dash.
- The 4x200-meter relay team of Reymond Overland, Thomas Overland, Lincoln Wylie and Zak Lenski took 23rd.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Scott Vieau, Ben Quentin, Reymond Overland and Joey Dzierzewski took 21st.
- The 4x800-meter relay team of Ben Quentin, Ryan Clementz, Tony Rodriguez and Joey Dzierzewski took 14th.
- Reymond Overland took 18th in the high jump.
Meanwhile, Amanda Thiel took 21st in the shot put in the girls' competition. Thiel was the lone participant from the Oak Creek girls team to qualify for state.

The Oak Creek girls soccer team's season came to a close on Saturday.
The Knights fell to Nicolet 4-0 in the regional final, finishing the year at 4-14-1.
