OAK CREEK, WI -- Police say some residents at the Springbrook Cercle Apartments got a scare on the afternoon of April 7 after the driver of a vehicle caused some property damage in the area.

According to Oak Creek police reports, an eyewitness called police just before 12:30 p.m. on April 7 upon seeing the driver of a vehicle hit several parked cars, and later a building on Rainbow Ridge Drive.

Reports stated that residents told police of hearing several loud bangs, only to see the driver of a vehicle strike several parked cars, stop, back up, and then accelerate again only strike the front of the apartment building.

According to reports, another witness saw what happened, and went up to the driver to find out what the problem was. The witness told police that during the encounter, he saw the driver appeared disoriented. He told police the driver said he had just left the gym and felt very dizzy. He was offered a glass of water to help him feel better.

No charges have been filed yet against the driver of the vehicle, according to reports.
