State Trooper Accidentally Fires Gun Inside Apartment: Report
According to police, a Wisconsin State Trooper accidentally fired one shot into the wall of an apartment during an investigation.
OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a State Patrol officer accidentally discharged their weapon into an Oak Creek apartment during an investigation.
According to the Oak Creek police department's call logs, troopers were investigating an unspecified incident on the 150 block of W. Oak Leaf Drive just after 7 p.m. on July 10 when one round was fired into the wall of an apartment, through that wall and into the wall of another apartment.
According to police, nobody was injured as a result of the incident. Oak Creek police indicated a police sergeant was following-up on the incident.
