Stolen Vehicle Turns Up at Oak Creek 7-Eleven
According to police reports, an officer on patrol located a potentially-stolen vehicle at the 7-Eleven.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police are now working with the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department on a stolen vehicle case after a vehicle that listed to their area turned up at an Oak Creek 7-Eleven on Aug. 21.
According to police reports, an officer on patrol located a potentially-stolen vehicle at the 7-Eleven just before 4 p.m. on Aug. 21.
When officers made contact with the vehicle's apparent owner, he stated he bought the vehicle through Facebook Marketplace on Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. for $600.

Police worked with the man to read messages on Facebook that documented the transaction, and the owner stated he would be able to identify the two people who sold him the vehicle.
When Oak Creek police contacted the vehicle's rightful owner in Wisconsin Rapids, they stated that the known person who stole their vehicle matched the description of the person who sold it to the person contacted by police in Oak Creek.
