Study Reveals how Oak Creek Students Compare With Neighbors, National Averages
Are you smarter than a fifth grader? According to a national study, when it comes to reading and math, an Oak Creek 4th grader might be.

OAK CREEK, WI —Are you smarter than a fifth grader? According to a national study, when it comes to reading and math, a typical Oak Creek fourth grader has a shot.
An educational study conducted by the University of Stanford, investigated the educational attainment of each U.S. School District and how it compared with national averages. The New York Times also has a fascinating data visualization project that allows you to investigate every school district in the U.S.
The study found that students in the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District were at an educational level 0.4 grade levels higher than national averages. That means that a fourth grader is performing at the educational level that begins to rival that of an average U.S. fifth grader.
