Submerged Car Recovered From Bender Park: Oak Creek Fire Dept.
A car was submerged at the Bender Park boat launch. Oak Creek Fire Department recovered the vehicle Friday morning.

OAK CREEK, WI — The Oak Creek Fire Department recovered a submerged car from the Bender Park boat launch Friday, according to the department.
The car could have been under about six feet of water "for quite some time," responding Milwaukee Sheriff's deputies said, according to the Oak Creek Fire Department. A dive team from the Franklin Fire Department was called in to assist as well.
Divers determined that there was nobody inside the car before it was pulled out of Lake Michigan, according to the Oak Creek Fire Department. The car was retrieved with a tow truck, boats and divers.

Photos show a small sedan covered in mud. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the vehicle.
