Summer Program Teaches Kids Tennis Basics

The sign-up deadline is Friday for children age 10 and younger to participate in the Midwest Youth Team Tennis program this summer.

The program is designed to introduce young players to tennis and utilizes age-appropriate rackets, balls, reduced courts size and lower nets. 

It is run by the and Oak Creek Tennis Program. Those groups will also hold a training workshop for parent volunteer coaches from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Oak Creek High School tennis courts.
