Suspect Fled 2 Hit-And-Run Accidents Minutes Apart: Police
Oak Creek police say two hit-and-run accidents on S. 13th St. happened minutes apart and involved the same suspect.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police are investigating multiple hit-and-run accidents that took place on Jan. 12 within minutes of each other involving the same suspect.
According to Oak Creek police, officers responded to the intersection of W. Drexel Ave. and S. 13th St. after the driver of a suspicious vehicle was heading north on S. 13th St. at a high rate of speed, when he slammed into a woman's vehicle who was driving north on 13th St.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash according to police reports.

Police say the driver, described as a black male in his 20s wearing boots, blue jeans, a red hoodie sweater and long dreadlocks, ran from his car and fled into a wooded area nearby. A few minutes later, he re-emerged from the woods and retrieved a small bag from the car before going back into the woods.
According to reports, the same suspicious man again re-emerged from the woods, but this time he was picked up by a black Cadillac, which left the area toward the interstate. Police would later learn that the driver was fleeing another hit-and-run accident that happened minutes before this one.

According to Oak Creek police reports, the first crash happened on the 8400 block of S. 13th St. In this crash, police say the driver of a suspicious vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed when he began tailgating another driver, only to run into the back end of the vehicle ahead of him. The driver of the suspicious vehicle fled.
Oak Creek police continued their investigation and reported finding a bag of marijuana in the woods where the man originally fled the second accident. Police managed to contact the registered owner of the Cadillac, only to find out that the man who sold the car failed to take the license plates off, according to reports.
