Swimming Season Concludes at State Meet
Senior Vissers swims in three events in final prep meet.

The Oak Creek boys swim team capped a memorable season on the state’s grandest stage.
Four swimmers and a diver competed in the WIAA Division 1 State Meet at the University of Wisconsin-Natatorium on Saturday.
Senior Sam Vissers swam in three events for the Knights. After setting school records in both the 100- and 200-yard freestyles a week ago at the WIAA sectional, Vissers swam 22nd in the 200 in 1 minute, 50.99 seconds and 24th in the 100 in 50.76.

He also teamed with seniors Jacob Wergin and Evan Koch and junior Zack Kaestner to take 19th in the 200 free relay in 1:32.23.
Senior Tony Rodriguez failed to make it out of preliminaries and was 21st in diving with 137.95 points.
