Tempo Kenosha's 3rd Annual Garden Party & Fashion Show

In Partnership with Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets, Sold-Out Event Gathered Local Women for an Evening of Business Networking and Fashion

Tempo Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets teamed up for the 3rd annual Garden Party and Fashion Show on Tuesday, August 7. The Garden Party and Fashion Show, hosted in the gardens at the Colergét Conference Center in Kenosha, brought together 70+ professional women from the local community to participate in an evening of business networking and fashion.

"We are thrilled local women are showing an active interest in developing their professional skills and widening their networking community," said Laura Burnett Shoemaker, President of Tempo Kenosha. "Our annual garden party and fashion show is one of many business and professional programs and projects focusing on the support, mentoring and empowerment of women leaders that Tempo Kenosha offers."

After guests enjoyed beverages and light bites in the garden over career-related conversations, Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets presented a fashion show featuring business professional looks. The outfits helped instruct women entering the workforce on best practices for dressing a wide variety of professional dress codes. Many of the center's top-name brands were showcased, including Banana Republic Factory Store, francesca's, Jockey, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Chico's Outlet, dressbarn and St. John. Maria Salerno, recently crowned 2018 Miss Kenosha in February, was one of the evening's models.
