Too Many Cats, Pit Bulls: MADACC Waiving Adoption Fees for Cats, Discount for Dogs

MILWAUKEE -- Due to an overabundance of animals at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC), the center is waiving adoption fees for cats, and reducing dog adoption fees.

MADACC is running two programs, one for cats and the other for Pit Bull terriers and mixes. Here are the details:

MADACC will offer a discounted adoption fee of $45 for pit bull terriers and mixes adopted June through October. The dog adoption fee is typically $75 the remainder of the year.

The Kittys in the City adoption promotion waives fees on the thousands of wonderful adult cats that come into MADACC each year.
