Two Major Apartment Complexes Proposed For Oak Creek
Construction would begin in the spring of 2019 and be finished in Nov. 2021 according to city documents.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Oak Creek could see a major increase in apartments in Oak Creek after Brookfield-based Decker Properties brought forward plans for two developments came forward at the Oct. 9 Plan Commission meeting.
One of the proposed developments is called The Oaks at 8100. It would be built at S. 27th Street and S. Orchard Way, and consist of 294 units on approximately 17 acres of land. Multiple buildings of The Oaks at 8100 would be constructed north of the Colonial Woods development.
The second proposed development is called Station 441, and it would be located at 441 W. Ryan Road. This development would have 192 units across five buildings and be built on 11 acres. and consist of 192 units in five buildings on 11 acres.

Construction would begin in the spring of 2019 and be finished in Nov. 2021 according to city documents. In the documents, Decker said these units would provide additional housing options for the roughly 1,000 Amazon fulfillment center employees that will eventually work in Oak Creek.
