Two More Vehicle Break-Ins Reported In Oak Creek: Report
When one Oak Creek woman told police she heard her dog barking overnight, she knew something was happening.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek fielded a number of vehicle-break in calls overnight between May 16 and 17.
10900 block of S. Richard Road: According to Oak Creek police call logs, the owner of a vehicle parked his car in the driveway in front of his house on May 17 at 6 p.m. When he came outside at 2 p.m. on May 18, he discovered it had been entered. A briefcase, laptop computer, iPhone, calculator, office supplies, cordless drill and socket set and additional hand tools were all reported stolen. Police said there was not any video camera footage of the incident, and have filed a report documenting the incident.
2100 block of E. Hidden Creek Court: According to police all logs, a woman parked her car overnight and left it unlocked at 10:45 p.m. on May 16. The woman told police that she heard her dog barking between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. When she came out to her car, she learned that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a $1,400 laptop computer and other musical devices. There are no suspects at this time, police said.
