OCHS seniors Tyler Jossart and Evan Klamar are being nationally recognized for their exceptional academic promise as 2022 Commended Students. Although they will not continue in the 2022 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
"We are so proud of Tyler and Evan for their passion and dedication to their learning," OCHS Principal Candis Mongan said. "To be recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program is an outstanding accomplishment and is the direct result of the hard work that these students have put in over the course of their high school careers.
