Underage Drinking, Narcotics Party Busted At La Quinta: Police

Police say an officer pursued one fleeing suspect, and he was captured in the parking lot of the nearby Applebee's.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the LaQuinta Inn, 7141 S. 13th Street on a report of an apparent underage drinking party taking place in one of the hotel rooms just after midnight on Nov. 5.

According to police reports, five people, all underage, appeared to be trying to leave the hotel room in question when police arrived. Police noted that one of the five suspects had a strong odor of marijuana coming from him and that he pushed past the other four people and ran out the door.

An officer pursued the fleeing suspect, and he was captured in the parking lot of the nearby Applebee's. A second party attendee was cited for loitering and a curfew violation.

According to police, a third party goer was arrested for having an open warrant through West Allis. The fourth suspect was cited for underage drinking and resisting arrest. The fifth suspect was listed as missing out of the Greenfield police department.

Police were unable to locate additional suspects at the time of the police call, according to reports. It was believed that other people fled out the window for the room and question. Officers noted there was evidence of alcohol and drug use.

Oak Creek Police told Patch.com that they were withholding the names of those arrested or cited due to their status as juveniles.
