Van Stolen At Village Green Apartments: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek are reporting an apparent vehicle theft at the Village Green Apartments on the 500 block of E. Centennial Drive.

According to police reports, a man came into the police department just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 14 on a report that his cargo van was stolen sometime between Aug. 2 and Aug. 13.

The vehicle, described as a white 2013 Mercedes Sprinter van, is valued at between $15,000 and $20,000.

The vehicle's owner said that he's an over-the-road truck driver and he was gone during that period in August and does not know who stole the vehicle. He also told police he has the vehicle's only set of keys on him at all times.

Police entered the vehicle as stolen into their database and are continuing to investigate the case.
