Vehicle Stolen At Riverwood Apartments

Oak Creek police responded to the Riverwood Arms Apartments on the morning of Nov. 5 on a report of a vehicle theft.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the Riverwood Arms Apartments on the morning of Nov. 5 on a report of a vehicle theft.

According to Oak Creek police reports, a police officer on patrol that morning was flagged down by a man, who stated that his vehicle was missing.

The apartment resident told police that sometime between midnight and 6:52 a.m., an unknown suspect stole his vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of the apartment complex, according to reports.

Oak Creek police reported that the vehicle, valued at about $2,000, was likely unlocked and taken without the benefit of keys. The vehicle owner told police that the car has an "I surf the Great Lakes" sticker on the bottom-left part of the trunk lid.

Police listed the vehicle as stolen, and are investigating the case.
