Verizon Bringing 4G Network to Oak Creek

Starting June 16, Verizon Wireless's 4G Long-Term Evolution (LTE) network will be available in Oak Creek and surrounding communities, the company announced Monday.

The 4G network will have speeds up to 10 times faster than the company’s 3G network, according to a news release.

The 4G rollout is also happening in the Madison and Wisconsin Dells areas.

“We are proud to help lead customers across Madison, Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin into the 4G LTE wireless broadband world, helping residents, small businesses and local government connect faster and more fully with each other and those outside our community,” said T.J. Fox, president-Wisconsin/Illinois, Verizon Wireless.
