Watch Police Help Lift Car To Save Life Of Trapped Driver: Report

A man working on his car reportedly got trapped underneath. It was up to police and bystanders to save his life.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek are reporting that they had a role in helping to save the life of a man who was trapped under a car.

According to Oak Creek police reports, officers were dispatched to Diane's Second Chance Bar on Aug. 3.

According to a CBS 58 report, John Spingola, 59, had been working under the hood of the car when the car moved, and Spingola slipped under one of the wheels.

Police reported that they, and another citizen lifted the car up in order for others to pull Spingola to safety. He suffered broken ribs and was treated at the hospital.
