Water Utility Worker Honored For Service

Daniel L. Durand was honored by the Common Council Tuesday night for his 25 years of service with the Oak Creek Water & Sewer Utility.

Durand was appointed to the position of utility locater in 1998 and performed locates "too numerous to count," according to the council's resolution. He started with the utility in 1986.

The resolution honors him for performing his duties "while always looking out for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Oak Creek."
