Weekend Forecast: Dress in Layers

Keep those extra layers handy this weekend — and you might as well pack an umbrella. This weekend's forecast calls for more of the same.

High temperatures hover the 40s, lows drop into the 30s. What is this, you ask? Aren't average high temps supposed to be ticking up into the 60s by now?

The answer to that question is ... yes. But unfortunately that's not what's in the cards for us this weekend. Cool and wet conditions will linger through the weekend. Next weekend, though, may be nicer.

Showers likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47 near the lake, 49 inland. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Saturday Night Showers likely, mainly before 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 40. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday
A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 50 near the lake, 52 inland. Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.
