Will School Board Agree With Oak Creek Teachers?

Over the course of the last several weeks, Oak Creek teachers have made it clear to School Board members that they don't agree with a couple of possible changes coming down the pipe.

Most notably, the changes might include and the given after teachers earn master's degrees.

Tonight, teachers may learn whether the School Board agrees with them. The board is scheduled to take action on a host of policies, including layoffs, as well as a preliminary personnel budget for the 2011-12 school year. (Click here for the entire agenda)

The issue with master's degrees may not be resolved until later this year, as the final version of the budget is passed at the end of October.
