Woman Beat Other Woman Over Lost Dog: Report

Reports state that police caught up with one of the women, and she was cited for battery.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek were called to the Motel 6 in Oak Creek after an apparent dispute between two women over a lost dog on Oct. 3.

According to police reports, a man who was wanted in Saint Francis on two arrest warrants told his cousin that he saw her lost dog in the possession of someone else.

According to reports, the cousin came to see the dog, whom she believed to be her lost dog "Lady." When she arrived, she told the woman who had the dog on a leash to hand the dog over.

When the woman denied the cousin her dog, police reports say the cousin hit the woman on the side and back of her head, and pulled her down and grabbed the leash, before leaving the scene with the dog she felt was hers.

According to reports, the woman said that she rescued the dog in Germantown, only to change her story to say that she found her on the streets of Milwaukee.
