Woman Catches Men Rummaging Through Cars: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek responded to the Riverwood Arms Apartments just after 3 a.m. on June 23 on a reported vehicle theft case.

According to police reports, a woman called the police, saying that three suspects were rummaging through vehicles in the apartment parking lot. The woman told police that each suspect was wearing a hoodie.

Reports stated that as the woman went onto her balcony after she heard the disturbance, all three suspects looked up and her and then started running east toward the baseball diamonds.

Police reported searching the area, and the suspects were not located. Police placed notification tags on each affected vehicle that instructed the vehicles' owners to contact police related to the incident.
