Son Murdered Mother, Beat Brother Over 'Nagging': Police
Police say Kervin Pierce is the man responsible for the shooting death of his mother and the severe beating of his brother.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police say 25-year-old Kervin Pierce is responsible for the shooting death of his mother and the severe beating of his brother early Tuesday in Oak Creek.
According to Oak Creek police, officers responded to the Timber Ridge Apartments, 1825 Timber Ridge Lane just before 4 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a domestic disturbance.
There, they found 48-year-old Bonita Pierce, shot, stabbed and beaten to death in the apartment. Her other son, and Kervin's brother, Kertwon Pierce, was found unconscious at the scene. Kertwon Pierce was transported to Froedtert with severe injuries to his head and face.

Police said the person who called 911 was, in fact, Kervin Pierce.
According to Oak Creek police, Kervin Pierce was taken into custody Tuesday morning and has been cooperating with law enforcement during their investigation. When police questioned Pierce's motive, he reportedly told investigators that his mother and brother had been "nagging him over the last few months."

Police in Oak Creek said Bonita Pierce's injuries were caused by a handgun, a knife and a blunt object that was used as a weapon.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is working with the Oak Creek Police department's detective unit and evidence technicians.
Oak Creek police are forwarding charges of first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office.
