OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say they arrested a woman after she reportedly struck a man with a full bottle of Heineken during an argument.

Oak Creek police responded to an apartment on the 9000 block of S. 5th Ave. in Oak Creek just after midnight on Aug. 29 on a report of disorderly conduct.

According to police reports, a woman struck a man in the head with a full bottle of Heineken during an argument because a male companion reportedly insulted the woman's mother.

Reports indicated that shortly after officers arrived that night, they found a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman sitting on the gorund holding her daughter. Officers said she was wearing blood-stained clothing and holding her young daughter. According to reports, the woman told police "I am not going to lie, I hit him."

According to police reports, officers spoke with the man, who said that he did not want to press charges for battery against the woman. Police put the woman under arrest on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Police said that the apartment owner no longer wished the woman at her apartment. When police talked with the woman, they said she would be arrested and charged with trespassing if she returned to the Fifth Ave. apartment.

The man was transported to the hospital for treatment to the cut on his head.
