Your Neighbors in Franklin Set to Get Extremely Muddy This Weekend

FRANKLIN -- The Warrior Dash, a 5K race that involves multiple obstacle courses and an abundance of mud, is coming to Franklin this Saturday.

WHERE: The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, Franklin, WI 53132
WHEN: Saturday, August 13th starting at 8:30am, with the last race taking off at 3:00pm.

WHAT: 5K Obstacle course with options making it fun for any level athlete. Finishers of the race will be awarded with a t-shirt, fuzzy warrior helmet, and ice-cold beer. Participants and spectators can enjoy watching the race at The Rock’s Umbrella Bar patio and indulge in delicious drinks, food, and more.

WHY: Warrior Dash has had more than two and a half million participants worldwide since 2009. Warrior dash reinvented the concept of the 5k run by adding 12 world-class obstacles like Goliath and Fisherman’s Catch. The Rock Sports Complex provides the perfect venue for creating a challenging and fun Warrior Dash course.

Scattered with obstacles, the steep hills, bike trails, and woods that surround the root river are sure to create an incredible one of a kind course.
